Such a beautiful singing voice – the tone of Thomas’ voice is an incredible asset and was a great casting for Anthony. I felt every word. I also liked Thomas’ energy, his energetic but decisive movements across the stage, fully using the stage showing his passion for Johanna. Not enough Anthony/Thomas in the show and I can’t wait to see him in his next production! (2019)

This was a very strong performance from Thomas in the role of Anthony. This was a well rounded performance from a talented performer who brought an energy to the stage when he was on. The characterisation was good, slightly naive and ever hopeful I found myself really caring about the character. (2019)

Thomas played Anthony wonderfully. Clear diction, good volume and good character work with the dialogue complimented a stunning voice and possibly my favourite version of 'Johanna' that I’ve heard. I could listen to you sing that every day. Congratulations on a heartfelt and enjoyable performance. (2019)

Vocally Thomas has an incredible voice, songs like ‘Joanna’ are not easy to sing but Thomas delivered this number beautifully and effortlessly. I found myself looking forward to Anthony’s next song in the show. A very good performance. (2019)

Previous positions have included Orchestra Manager and Assistant Musical Director of Serenata Singers and Cardiff University Operatic Society respectively, Chorus Manager and Assistant Chorus Master of the Cardiff University Symphony Chorus and Musical Director Blank Verse. He has performed at venues such as the Royal Albert Hall, St David's Hall, Brangwyn Hall, Snape Maltings Concert Hall, St Paul’s Cathedral and King’s College Cambridge, as well as venues in Germany, Italy and America. He recently went on tour with the BBC National Chorus of Wales to Brittany, performing at the opening of the Couvent des Jacobins. Thomas was asked to be in a solo quartet with the BBC’s performance of James MacMillan’s ‘Seven Angels’.

On the stage, he has performed the roles of Khashoggi in ‘We Will Rock You!’ and Anthony in Stephen Sondheim’s ‘Sweeney Todd’, as well as performed in the operas ‘Patience’ by Gilbert and Sullivan in 2016, Aaron Copland's 'The Tender Land' at UNH in April 2017, and in opera scenes as Bardolph in Verdi’s ‘Falstaff’. Future performances include conducting Mozart’s ‘Don Giovanni’ in Spring 2020 with Cardiff Opera.
