Angharad is a graduate of the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama where she studied for an MA in Opera Studies under the tuition of Beatrice Unsworth and Michael Pollock.
Her operatic roles include the Madrigal Singer in Puccini’s Manon Lescaut and Vixen in Janáček's The Cunning Little Vixen both for Bristol Opera Company. Rowan in Britten's The Little Sweep with Pocket Opera. Papagena in The Magic Flute, Mozart and Susanna in the Marriage of Figaro, Mozart, both for Tessitoura Opera. Angharad recently played Fiordiligi in Mozart’s Cosi Fan Tutti with Tessitoura's 2015 tour.
Her Oratorio work includes Monte Verdi’s Vespers, Bach’s St John Passion, Pergoleis’s Stabat Mater, Handel’s Messiah, Handel’s Dixit Dominus, Mozart’s Requiem and C Minor Mass, Faure’s Requiem and Tippit’s The Child of Our Time.
Whilst studying at the RWCMD she has played the role of the Governess in a devised piece “Britten’s Women” for Bath Music Festival. Despina in Cosi Fan Tutti, Pappagena in The Magic Flute and she has also covered the role Tina in Jonathan Dove's opera Flight. Opera scenes include, Marzelline in Beethovens Fidelio and Ilia in Mozart’s Idomeneo.
In 2014 Angharad joined Mid Wales Opera in their 25th anniversary tour of Carmen as part of the chorus, of which there was one per part. She was delighted to work with acclaimed director Jonathan Miller. Angharad was part of their young artist programme, where she covered the role of frasquita, and was able to perform the role on the last night.
