After studying at the Junior Royal Academy of Music, Cressida went on to a Classics degree at Cambridge, her professional career beginning while still a student. Starting out in opera, she quickly added an interest in oratorio, and continues to sing both as a soloist and as a member of chamber ensembles, including EXAUDI, the Monteverdi Choir, and the BBC Singers.
