An enthusiast for lieder, Davidona has performed as a recitalist in London in collaboration with pianist, Nico de Villiers. Their mutual love of Tudor history sparked a desire to perform a programme exploring the stories of various women wronged in the shade of male power. Davidona's penchant for Scandinavian lieder in particular comes from her education in Finland. As part of the Erasmus+ scheme, Davidona was accepted to The Sibelius Academy in Helsinki, Finland in 2014, to study her 3rd year of the Bachelor’s degree. Through The Sibelius Academy, Davidona studied under Monica Groop, performed in the world premiere of Kalevi Aho’s opera Frida y Diego and was part of the chorus in Rossini’s Il Viaggio A Reims directed by acclaimed Finnish director, Ville Saukkonen as well as becoming proficient in singing in Finnish and Swedish.
