Scottish soprano, Davidona Pittock is a graduate from The Royal College of Music with a Masters in Vocal Performance. She was a Sir Gordon Palmer Scholar supported by The Simon Fletcher Trust and The Caird Trust under the tutelage of Rosa Mannion. Her repertoire coaches have included Roger Vignoles and Simon Lepper.

In August, Davidona made her professional debut as Annina in Westminster Opera Company's 10th Anniversary production of Verdi's La Traviata. In October, she was a finalist of The Georges Enesco International Singing Competition in Paris as well as winning second prize at The Cheltenham Baroque Competition earlier in the year. In July and August of 2019, Davidona will be returning for a second year as an Emerging Artist with Westminster Opera Company in the role of Musetta (La Bohème). Her most recent public performances include Zerlina (Don Giovanni) with The Ludlow Orchestra, Claudine (La Fille du Tambour Major) with FAVA, The Snow Maiden (The Snow Maiden), Fiordiligi (Così fan tutte) and Mère Marie (Dialogues des Carmelites) in The Royal College of Music Masters Opera Scenes.

Born in Edinburgh, Davidona completed her Bachelor of Music Honours at The Royal Conservatoire of Scotland in 2016 with a joint First Class in Vocal Performance and second study Scots song under the tutelage of Patricia MacMahon and Lisa Milne. Alongside her Scottish studies, Davidona was invited to record a selection of songs by Robert Burns for Editing Burns for the 21st Century, subsequently becoming the most downloaded artist through The University of Glasgow website and her records have been distributed worldwide on The University of Glasgow: Songs of Burns album.

An enthusiast for lieder, Davidona has performed as a recitalist in London in collaboration with pianist, Nico de Villiers. Their mutual love of Tudor history sparked a desire to perform a programme exploring the stories of various women wronged in the shade of male power. Davidona's penchant for Scandinavian lieder in particular comes from her education in Finland. As part of the Erasmus+ scheme, Davidona was accepted to The Sibelius Academy in Helsinki, Finland in 2014, to study her 3rd year of the Bachelor’s degree. Through The Sibelius Academy, Davidona studied under Monica Groop, performed in the world premiere of Kalevi Aho’s opera Frida y Diego and was part of the chorus in Rossini’s Il Viaggio A Reims directed by acclaimed Finnish director, Ville Saukkonen as well as becoming proficient in singing in Finnish and Swedish.
