Covered Covered & Performed Scenes Premiere of New Work Concert
Dominic originates from the small rural town of Nanango in Queensland, Australia. He completed his undergraduate studies at the Queensland Conservatorium Griffith University and has received many academic and vocal awards. While with Opera Queensland's Young Artist Program (2011-12), Dominic's debut as Nanki-poo in The Mikado was reviewed by the Australian media as 'high spirited and delightful ... [as] his rich tenor registered time and time again.' He was a member of the Opera Queensland chorus from 2009-2012.
Since completing the Guildhall Artist Masters of Performance at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama, having been awarded the Concert Recital Diploma and the Chairman's Prize, Dominic has performed and covered with Nevill Holt Opera, the Chelsea Opera Group, Garsington Opera, Third Hand Opera and British Youth Opera.
Now based in London, he has recently worked with English Touring Opera and is scheduled to appear as Ferrando in Cosi fan tutte for Clonter Opera in July and with Wexford Festival Opera in October.
In August, Dominic will further his notable recital repertoire with An die ferne Geliebte and Die Schöne Müllerin in London, Sydney, Newcastle, Brisbane, Albury and Melbourne.
