In February 2013, she played the Second Bridesmaid in Mozart’s ‘The Marriage of Figaro’ with Lyric Opera Productions in the National Concert Hall, and in August of that year, she travelled with the company to Buxton, Derbyshire, where she played the role of Peep Bo in ‘The Mikado’ during the International Gilbert & Sullivan Festival. More recently, she played the role of Tessa in ‘The Gondoliers’ by Gilbert & Sullivan in the Gaiety Theatre Dublin with the Rathmines & Rathgar Musical Society in April of this year.

As a choral singer, Dominica sang in Christ Church Cathedral for just under 14 years, first in the girls’ choir and later in the adult choir as a Lay Vicar Choral. She currently sings annually as a core, non-paying member of the Charles Wood Singers at the Charles Wood Summer School in Armagh. She also enjoyed singing with the new professional, Dublin-based chamber choir ‘Lassus’ for its launch concerts and debut CD recording in July 2015.

Dominica performed as a member of the chorus for the world premiere of Raymond Deane’s opera ‘The Alma Fetish’ with Wide Open Opera in September 2013 in the National Concert Hall, and worked with Wide Open Opera again in May 2014, performing as a cover for the role of Second Secretary in ‘Nixon in China’ by John Adams with the National Symphony Orchestra in the Bord Gáis Energy Theatre. Dominica has also performed as a professional chorus member with NI Opera, with the RTÉ Concert Orchestra, and was one of six Jenny’s Girls in ‘The City of Mahagonny’ by Bertolt Brecht & Kurt Weill which was staged as a collaboration between Opera Theatre Company and Rough Magic at the Olympia Theatre Dublin in May 2014. In November and December of last year, Dominica had the pleasure of touring nationally with OTC for the revival of NI Opera’s ‘The Elixir of Love’ by Donizetti. She will perform as a member of the chorus for NI Opera’s ‘Turandot’ in the Grand Opera House, Belfast in October 2015.
