Biography



In April 1998 Emma made her solo debut with the Royal Opera as Second Flowermaiden in Parsifal with Placido Domingo at the Royal Festival Hall and in Rome. She has also sung the role of Clorinda and covered the roles of Semele, Dorinda Orlando, and Sifare Mitridate at ROH.
 
Other roles sung include Donna Anna, Dorinda Orlando Pamina, Adalgisa, Zerlina, Micaela, Euridice, Fiordiligi, Countess, Elena La Donna del Lago, Liù Turandot, Ilia Idomeneo, Servillia La Clemenza di Tito and the title roles in Semele, Maria Stuarda and Rossini’s Armida.
  
In 2012 she released a CD Un Sospir, Handel Arias and Cantatas with London Mozart Players and sang a recital of Handel Cantatas at Handel House Museum.

Last year she sang at Westminster Abbey at the blessing for James Callaghan’s memorial.

Forthcoming engagements include Messiah, St John Passion and regular concerts with her Chamber music trio three4 with whom she has just recorded a CD. More at www.emmadogliani.com
