Clonter Opera Prize (2018)
Elliot Webster-Mockett is a young baritone from England. Elliot graduated from the Alexander Gibson Opera School at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland.
Operatic roles include: Anna Maurrant Street Scene(RCS); Woman/ Mother The Day After (RCS); First Nun The Fiery Angel (Scottish Opera) Fifth Maid Elektra (Edinburgh Opera Players);
Agrippina Agrippina(RCS); Aunt Norris Mansfield Park (Edinburgh Studio Opera); Marianna Il Signor Bruschino and Clarina La Cambiale di Matrimonio (Raucous Rossini); The Witch Hänsel and Gretel (RCS); and Marguerite Faust (Fife Opera).
Concert work includes: soprano soloist Verdi Reqieum(Fernhurst Choral Society); soprano soloist Mass in C Minor and Exultate
Jubilate (Edinburgh Royal Choral Union); soprano soloist Serenade to Music (RCS); soprano soloist Elijah (Cupar Choral Society); and Coryphée Le Martyre de saint Sébastien (Edinburgh International Festival).
Elliot won the Clonter Opera Prize in 2018.
Elliot took a break from singing recently to focus on his transition, but is ready to get back into the saddle and is now performing as a Baritone
