Born in Salem at the Lake of Conctance, Helena Margareta graduated High School in 2008 at the Free Waldorf School Überlingen.
She received her Musical Education at Goldsmiths College London, (2009-2011) as well as at Musikhochschule Freiburg (2012 -2016) Germany, where she got her Bachelor Degree in Opera and Concert Performance.
From June 2017 to June 2019 Helena Margareta studied privately with Prof. Fenna Kügel- Seifried, Hochschule für Musik und Theater München.
She is a scholarship holder of the Richard Wagner Society (2016) and took part in Masterclasses with Thomas Heyer and Sebastian Hamann.
During her studies in London and Freiburg she took part in numerous Opera productions and concerts. With the Opera Gold London in Verdis "Rigoletto", the Freiburger Institut für Musiktheater in "L’étoile" by Chabrier, Janáčeks "The Cunning Little Vixen", Glucks "Orphée et Euridice" and the Stadttheater Freiburg in Goldmarks "The Queen of Saba".
In August 2019 she gave her role debut as Papagena in Mozarts "Magic Flute" at the Kurhaus Wiesbaden.
In July 2021 she sang the Lead Role in Vasiliki Kourti-Papamoustou und Jan F. Kurths contemporary Opera „Fliegende Bauten“ at the Notstrom Festival Freiburg.
She appeared at the Concert Hall Freiburg, the Mozart Festival Bad Krozingen and the Freiburg Chamber Music Festival and the HIDALGO Song Festival Munich to name a few. She has a special fondness for late romantic Lied Repertoire. Part of her Lied Repertoire is Vaughan Williams "Merciless Beauty", Crumbs "Three Early Songs" and the Song Cycle "World Peace" by the contemporary composer Clemens K. Thomas.
