“And the European Chamber Orchestra had a winner in Mimi of Janet Fairlie at the Theatre Royal last night, from the second we heard that her tiny hand was frozen, to her dying breath.” Eastern Evening News

“Janet Fairlie as the unfaithful Nedda… made a particularly powerful impact on the production.” Roy Atterbury, Kentish Times

“Mozart’s finest hour was better served by the women of the cast, with Janet Fairlie a dignified Donna Anna.” Rian Evans, The Guardian

“Sharply characterised, intelligently dressed and beautifully sung. A jewel of a production. Janet Fairlie possesses a natural comic talent, and yet brings spine-tingling vocal weight and depth to the role of Fiordiligi.” - Warwick Thompson, London Metro
