A graduate of the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland, Katie previously studied at Royal Holloway, University of London, performing in several musical theatre pieces and giving several public recitals. An experienced choral singer, she has sung with the National Youth Choir, the City of Birmingham Symphony Chorus, the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland voices, Glasgow Cathedral Choir and the London Philarmonia Chorus. In Scotland and the West Midlands, Katie has performed solos in oratorio with various choral societies, given recitals as part of the Edinburgh Festival and recorded a new opera with the BBC Scottish Symphony Orchestra. Operatic roles include Belinda in Dido and Aeneas, Nella in Gianni Schicchi and Clito in Cavalli’s Xerse, which was a UK revival performed at London’s Grimeborn Opera Festival.
