Born in 1992 in Rottweil, Germany, the young soprano, Lisa Katharina Gaiselmann, commenced her musical education with Birgit Wagner-Ruh, alongside classical ballet.
In September 2011, she sang the roles of 1. Dame and Papagena in ‘Die Zauberflöte’ by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart in Rottweil.
Since October 2013, she studies with Professor Turid Karlsen at the State University for Music and Art Stuttgart. From November 2014 till January 2015, she sang the title role of Gretel in Rottweil for their production of Engelbert Humperdinck´s ‘Hänsel und Gretel’.
Since 2015, she is a scholarship holder of the Yehudi Menuhin “Live Music Now” Foundation.
In July 2017 she played the role of a ‘Geisha' with the New Music Ensemble
under the direction of Professor Angelika Luz, performances were in the House of History Stuttgart.
In November 2017, she sang the role of Tenerina/Tamiri in Niccolò Jommeli´s “Il cacciatore deluso” in Tübingen.
In October 2018 she received the ‘Gutenberg - Gesangsstipendium’ from HfM Mainz for the project Rossini Mass Petite Messe solennelle. In April 2019 she sang in the world premiere of N. Porpora: Dixit Dominus, conducted by Prof. Elisabeth Scholl and performed in the historical style and on period instruments.
In June 2020 she performed for the Kirsten Flagstad Festival 2020 with an online Livestream from Stuttgart. In November 2020 she get a scholarship of SWR with “Klangspektrum Baden- Württemberg”.
Lisa was a Finalist and 3rd Prize “Special Award” Winner in the “Lions Club Competition Stuttgart” in April 2021 and in May 2021 she is “Voice of the Month” by the Opera Academy Baden- Baden.
Her Debut as Frasquita in the Opera “Carmen” by G. Bizet is in July 2021 with the Young Opera Weikersheim, in Weikersheim Castle, conducted by Elias Grandy, as well as 2022 at the Schlossfestspiele Ettlingen. She also gave her acting debut in the theatre piece Gaslicht by P. Hamilton also at Schlossfestspiele Ettlingen. Since October 2022 she is a member of the state opera choir at the Staatsoper Stuttgart.
