Logan Tanner, American Countertenor, and native of Texas, completed his undergraduate degree in Vocal Performance at Baylor University, where he performed roles in Les Dialogues des Carmelites, Cosi fan tutte, Dido and Aeneas, and The Magic Flute. After graduating from Baylor, he performed for audiences in Italy and then in Los Angeles as a young artist. Recently Logan received his Masters of Music degree in Voice Performance from Westminster Choir College in Princeton, New Jersey, where he performed the roles of la Théière in Ravel’s L'enfant et les sortileges, Bardolfo in Verdi’s Falstaff, and Tempo in Handel’s Il Trionfo del Tempo e del Disinganno with Westminster Opera Theater. Logan regularly performs as a soloist around the tri-state area and in September 2017 received first place in the New York Classical Music Society's Artist International Competition. Logan will be making his debut with the New York Repertory Orchestra on November 18, 2017 in Merkin Hall, and will also make his debut with the Purcell Society of Boston on April 15, 2018. In October of 2017, Logan was named the Winner of the Choralis Young Artist Competition, and will make his debut with Choralis and full orchestra on March 11, 2018 as soloist in Handel's Messiah.
