Louis recently sang with Opera Delaware in their performance of Rigoletto where he performed the role of Borsa and covered the role of the Duke. In the summer of 2023, Louis was an Apprentice Artist at Chautauqua Opera, where he sang the roles of Anthony in Sweeney Todd and Don José in La tragédie de Carmen (Bizet/Brooks) under the baton of Steven Osgood.

In August 2022, Louis transitioned from baritone to tenor repertoire singing the title role in Werther at William Jewell College where he earned his Artist Diploma. As an Apprentice Artist with the Lyric Opera of Kansas City (2021-23) he performed the role of Ollie in A Sketchbook for Ollie and Giuseppe in La traviata.

As a baritone, Louis sang lyric baritone roles covering Figaro (Il barbiere di Siviglia) at Saratoga Opera (2022), singing Count Almaviva (Le nozze di Figaro) and John Cree (Elizabeth Cree) at William Jewell College, and covering the role of Steve Jobs (The (R)evolution of Steve Jobs) at The Lyric Opera of Kansas City.

Louis has studied with Gran Wilson, Daniel Belcher, Joan Patenaude-Yarnell, Stephanie Blythe, Theresa Bickham, and Phillip Collister. Louis earned his Master in Voice Performance from Bard College Conservatory in 2021 and his Bachelor of Music in Voice Performance from Towson University in 2018. Offstage, Louis enjoys playing guitar, diving into languages, exploring the world through a camera lens, and spending time with his cat, Romulo.
