Oli Sheffield is steadily establishing himself in London as a tenor with a full and warm timbre. He has sung with Nevill Holt Opera Company, the International Gilbert and Sullivan Society, and at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival where he performed the role of Young John in the world premiere of Absolved Passions by the Scottish composer Dave Wishart.
He graduated with a First Class Bachelor of Honours degree from the Royal Northern College of Music where he studied with David Maxwell Anderson, and gained a Postgraduate Diploma from Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance where he was a Kathleen Robert’s scholar and studied with Joan Rodgers.
Oli has been fortunate to study with such teachers as Yvonne Kenny and Tim Evans Jones. He has spent time living in Berlin and most recently New York City where he met his current teacher, the renowned, Arthur Levy.
He has received coachings and masterclasses from Trish McCaffrey, Mark Schnaible, John Fisher, Sir Mark Elder, Roger Vignoles, David Owen Norris, Anthony Spiri, Neil Davies, Russell Smythe, Ryland Davies, Dennis O’Neill, Patricia McMahon, Peter Alexander Wilson, and Lynne Dawson.
