Olivia Warburton is currently studying at the Royal Academy of Music under Elizabeth Ritchie and Gareth Hancock. She gained a full scholarship upon entrance and in her first undergraduate year, was awarded the Arthur Burcher Memorial Prize. She was subsequently chosen to represent the Academy in the Kathleen Ferrier Young Singers Award, where she reached the final.

Olivia is a soloist and regular chorus member for the Bach/Kohn Foundation Bach Cantata Series and has worked with leading Harpsichordists and Conductors including Laurence Cummings and Masaaki Suzuki. In June 2015, performances in collaboration with The Julliard School will take her on tour to New York, Boston and Leipzig. On the concert platform she has performed at venues including St John's Smith Square, St Martin-in-the-Fields, Kings Place, the Holywell Music Room and the Royal Courts of Justice.

Olivia has a very keen interest in song and is a member of the Royal Academy of Music’s prestigious Song Circle. She is a Britten-Pears Young Artist and was selected last summer to participate in a masterclass series led by Wolfgang Holzmair and Imogen Cooper. In 2013 Olivia was a participant in the Oxford Lieder Mastercourse led by Roger Vignoles. Olivia has worked with an array of international artists including including Angelika Kirschlager, John Mark Ainsley and Florian Boesch. Last year Olivia made her debut at the Aldeburgh Festival in Janacek's The diary of one who disappeared and the premier of Wigglesworth's Echo and Narcissus.

For the Royal Academy’s vocal faculty opera scenes, Olivia has performed as Cherubino in Mozart’s Le Nozze di Figaro, Eufemia in Leoncavallo’s La Boheme, Annio in Mozart’s La Clemenza di Tito and Oreste in Offenbach’s La Belle Helene. Prior to her undergraduate studies she was a chorister at Lincoln Cathedral under the directorship of Aric Prentice. She also toured extensively with Opera North for two seasons in their productions of Mozart's Die Zauberflöte and Britten's A Midsummer Night's Dream. Olivia is generously supported by the Leverhulme Trust and the Josephine Baker Trust.
