The German soprano Stefanie Hildebrandt studied opera singing with Prof. A. K. Tesaker at the
MOZARTEUM University Salzburg and finished her studies in 2014 with Marita Posselt at the
University of Music FRANZ LISZT in Weimar. Master classes with Helen Donath, Brigitte
Fassbaender, Edita Gruberova and Stelia Doz contributed greatly her education. Currently, Stefanie works with the vocal coach Gudrun Bär.
In 2004 Stefanie Hildebrandt debuted at the Bad Gandersheimer Domfestspiele as the first child
spirit in The Magic Flute by W. A. Mozart in a production of Johannes Weigand and Scott
Lawton. In 2014 she sang the same part with the Jena Philharmonics conducted by Stefan Klingele.
Stefanie sang at different opera houses such as Theatre Nordhausen and Theatre Magdeburg. In
summer 2016 she made her debut as Ida in The Bat, a production by Katharina Kutil and Gerard
Oskamp at the 20th Summer Operetta in Schönebeck.
Her further operatic repertoire includes roles such as Gretel and Sandman from Hansel and Gretel
by Humperdinck, Elisetta from Il matrimonio segreto by Cimarosa, Anna from La Didone
delirante by Scarlatti, Blonde from The Abduction from the Seraglio, Papagena and Pamina
from The Magic Flute by Mozart and Frasquita from Carmen by Bizet.
Stefanie's concert repertoire includes Galatea in Handel's Acis and Galatea, Romberg's The song
of the bell, Vivaldi's Gloria in D major, Bach's Christmas Oratorio and Bo Holten's Regn og
Rusk og Rosenbusk lead to a concert tour in Milan, Florence and Como in 2014.
She worked with directors and conductors such as Immo Karaman, Tilman Hecker, Oliver Mears,
Olivia Fuchs, Christian von Götz, Elmar Fulda, Wolfgang Katschner, Markus L. Frank, Michael
Ellis Ingram, Nicholas Milton, Christian Fitzner, Daniele Squeo and Vladimir Yaskorski.
