Singing in English Suzie Purkis as Carmen dominated the action whenever she was on stage. She is a true mezzo with a dark-toned, vibrant and velvety voice which was absolutely precise in diction, rhythm, and intonation. Peterborough Telegraph (2018)

Since graduating she has been employed by Diva Opera, Buxton Festival Opera, Kentish Opera, Heritage Opera and Graham Vick’s Birmingham Opera Company.
