Valeria is a singer and actress, originally from Italy, but now based in London. Valeria started her career as a performer in Italy, while studying Music (BA) at the local Conservatoire, where she studied classical piano, classical singing, jazz singing and musical theatre.

She graduated in Music in 2016 and won an award for best dissertation with her work on the Role of Opera, Music and Theatre in Italian Risorgimento, which was subsequently published in two separate editions. In 2017 she was offered a place on the Musical Theatre MA course at Royal Academy of Music in London, graduated in 2018 when she also received the DipRAM award for Outstanding Performance.
Since then she performed both on stage and on screen in London and internationally for, amongst others, the Barbican Centre, Royal Albert Hall, Royal Opera House, Gillian Lynne Theatre, Channel 4, Abbey Road and the BBC.
She is a recurring presence at International Music Festival Trame Sonore, and she is the voice of JAS (Jazz Acoustic Strings) Ensemble.

Valeria is also a music psychologist (MSc, Goldsmiths University of London), dramaturg and director and has been working for companies like BBC Sounds, Institute of Contemporary Arts, MusicTree, Instant Opera and the Arena di Verona Opera Festival.
