Winner of the Kath Topping Vocal award, Jennifer currently performs across London and Kent with Mantissa Opera, Sheppey Gala Opera and various choral societies. After a wonderful break from full roles to focus on starting a family and performing in more local concerts, she recently played the role of the Countess (Le Nozze di Figaro) for Mantissa Opera in 2019 and looks forward to her debut as Queen of the Night (Die Zauberflӧte) in a concert performance when restrictions allow. She has also been asked to sing Strauss’ Vier Letzte Lieder for the Havering Concert Orchestra in the coming year. She studies with renowned vocal coach Raymond Connell and previously studied with Janice Chapman.

In the last few years Jennifer has expanded her repertoire in concert performances to include the roles of Olympia (Les contes d’Hoffmann), Tosca (Tosca), Violetta (La Traviata), Semiramide (Semiramide), Madama Butterfly (Madama Butterfly), Carmen (Carmen), Donna Elvira (Don Giovanni), La Wally (La Wally), Rosina (Il barbiere di Siviglia) and Gilda (Rigoletto) for Mantissa Opera, Sheppey Gala Opera and as a soloist with the Cantium Singers, New Essex Choir and Theydon Bois Singers.

Previous full opera roles include Micaela (Carmen) for Mantissa Opera and Mimi (La Bohème). She was also Marzelline (Fidelio) for the New London Opera Players in the same year. Other roles include Pamina (Die Zauberflӧte), Frasquita (Carmen) and Kate (Madame Butterfly) for Mantissa Opera and Jennifer was asked to be Euridice (Peri’s Euridice) for a GSMD production directed by Andrew Lawrence-King and Stephen Player. She also worked with John Ramster and Mary Hill as Belinda (Dido and Aeneas) with the New London Opera Players.

In oratorio, Jennifer has performed as the soprano soloist for Elijah (Mendelssohn), Rejoice in the Lamb (Britten) and Requiem (Fauré) with Gravesham Choral, Mass in G (Schubert) for the Ecumenical Singers’ and Theydon Bois Singers, and Handel's Messiah with the Brompton Music Orchestra. She was also the soprano soloist for Gloria (Vivaldi), Vesperae Solennes de Confessore (Mozart) and Hymn of Praise (Mendelssohn) for the New Essex Choir and Coronation Mass (Mozart) for the Theydon Bois Singers. For the City Chorus at St Sepulchre's Church Holborn she was soloist for Missa Brevis in F Hob XXII:1 (Haydn), Chandos Anthem 8 O come, let us sing (Handel) and Chandos Anthem 7 My song shall be always (Handel).

In staged scenes and concert performances Jennifer’s roles also include Second Lady (Die Zauberflӧte), Leonora (Fidelio), Lauretta (Gianni Schicchi), Despina (Cosi Fan Tutte), Gianetta (L'elisir d'amore), Angelica (Orlando), Fiordiligi (Cosi Fan Tutte), Gilda (Rigoletto), Zerlina (Don Giovanni), Josephine (HMS Pinafore), Patience (Patience), Mabel (Pirates of Penzance) and Pitti-sing (Mikado).

Jennifer loves the versatile and social nature of singing for various events. She has many years experience performing many roles and ensembles not only from classical music but from popular culture and theatre and show songs. To name a few, Jennifer has performed scenes and ensembles from many Gilbert and Sullivan operas, Les Miserables, Porgy and Bess, Phantom of the Opera, West Side story, Oklahoma, Fiddler on the Roof and many more!
