Anne Marie studied at the Conservatory of Music, Dublin, under the tutelage of Mary Brennan where she graduated with a Bachelor of Music Performance with First Class Honours, and received the Paul McNamara gold medal for excellence in performance.
Since living in London Anne Marie has studied with Yvonne Kenny and Paul Farrington. She is currently training for her Masters in Voice at the Wales International Academy of Voice under the tutelage of Dennis O'Neill. Roles include First Mother Dead Man Walking and Handmaiden Turandot (Opera Ireland), Fiordiligi Cosi fan tutte (Longborough Opera Festival on tour), Vitellia La Clemenza di Tito (Giornata Opera), Helena A Midsummer Night's Dream (Co-Opera Co.), Angelica Suor Angelica (Hawaii Performing Arts Festival), Madame Silberklang Der Schausieldirektor and La Ciesca Gianni Schicchi (St. Paul's Summertime Opera), Mimi La Boheme (Verdandi Camerata), Frau Fluth Die Lustigen Weiber von Windsor (Lyric Opera Studio Weimar) and Angelica (Zezere Arts Festival).
Anne Marie is also an experienced concert soloist with repertoire including Dvorak Requiem, Rossini Stabat Mater and Tippett Five Spirituals from A Child of our time. As an avid recitalist her repertoire includes Strauss Vier Letzte Lieder, Wagner Wesendonk Lieder and Mahler Rueckert Lieder. She was a prizewinner at the Ballymena Feisceoil and the Feis Ceoil and reached the semi-final of the Inaugural Elizabeth Connel Prize for Dramatic Sopranos.
