A graduate of The Royal Academy of music, Kirsty became the first masters student to ever be awarded a mark of 100% for a final recital with her portrayal of Strauss' Vier Letzte Lieder. She is also the recipient The Marjorie and Dorothy Whyte Memorial Prize "for a recent graduate with outstanding potential as a soloist".
In 2011 Kirsty joined the chorus of Glyndebourne opera and in 2012 she made her professional operatic debut singing the role of Cockerel in Janáček's Cunning Little Vixen with Glyndebourne Opera, under the baton of Vladimir Jurowski. Kirsty continued her relationship with Glyndebourne, covering the first nymph in Rusalka for Glyndebourne on Tour in 2012 and covering the role of Female Chorus in Britten's Rape of Lucretia in 2013. 2014 saw her make her role debut as Violetta for Opera South's production of La Traviata.

Kirsty has appeared in many masterclasses including those with; Susan Bullock, Dame Kiri Te Kanawa, Robin Stapleton and Robin Bowman.
She has also studies all fields of dance including Jazz, Tap, National and Ballet (including pointe work) from an early age until 20, completing her final year of classes with Birmingham City Ballet.


Kirsty currently studies with Nelly Miricioiu, and previously studied with Anne Howells.
