Bruno trained as an actor at LAMDA and as a singer at the RNCM. Theatre and TV credits
include Toby Belch Twelfth Night, Borkin in Chekhov’s Ivanov and Arkady Strugatsky Life on
Mars . Opera roles include Bartolo and Antonio Le Nozze di Figaro, Il Commendatore Don
Giovanni, Varlaam Boris Godunov, Dikoy Katya Kabanova, Mephistopholes in Gounod’s Faust
and Don Basilio Il Barbiere di Siviglia. He has worked with companies such as ENO, Opera North
and Scottish Opera. Recent credits include 1st Streltsy Khovanskygate for Birmingham Opera
Company, Mustafa L’italiana in Algeri for Pop-up Opera and the title role in Don Pasquale, Don
Alfonso Cosi fan Tutte and Banquo Macbeth, all for Pavilion Opera Company.
