Berner Zeitung (2021)
"The Norwegian mezzo Eira Huse uses the opportunity to shine her warmly timbred and pleasantly vibrating voice in the melodies of Nadia Boulanger; her voice is moreover emitted with ease in each of the registers: The medium is fleshy, and the bass is assured. The artist proves herself to be fully convincing in the expression of lamentation, such as in Cantique with words by Maurice Maeterlinck, polished with a fair and precise attention paid to the nuances." - Olyrix, The Verbier Festival 2021 (2021)
Eira Huse is sculpting the silence of the famous "Morgen!" by Strauss, while Grieg grows from a game of hopscotch with consonants to an inner journey of joy that rustles!" - Opera Online, The Verbier Festival 2021 (2021)
- Crescendo Magazine (2021)
…ebenso hervorragend Eira Sjaastad Huse (Die Andere Frau) - Opernglas, Dido and Aeneas, The Norwegian National Opera & Ballet (2019) (2019)
Anaclase (2019) (2019)
Olyrix: Le quatuor vocal, composé d’Anna Cavaliero, Eira Huse (également Lady Capulet, au timbre chaleureux)… harmonise vaillamment des parties parfois difficiles, souvent a cappella. (2019)
"...The real stand-out for me was Eira Sjaastad-Huse’s Ottavia, whose deep, powerful voice brought clout to a character I usually find rather dull. Sjaastad-Huse’s acting also underlined the fact that Ottavia is not, as sometimes played, a purely wronged, virtuous figure."..."that smoky, burnished-bronze voice. Wow." www.theidlewoman.net (2017)
"For me, it was Swedish and Norwegian mezzo Eira Sjaastad-Huse who was my favourite. Her embodiment of the neglected empress Ottavia is captivated, more so is her voice, which is alluring and a pleasure to hear." - www.trendfem.com (2017)
..."The voices of Ottavia (Eira Sjaastad-Huse) and Ottone (Collin Shay) stood out in particular due to their timbre qualities." - www.playstosee.com (2017)
Bachtrack: "A thrillingly well-sung Ottavia from Eira Sjaastad-Huse, with extraordinary stage presence and a burnished, penetratingly full (mezzo-)soprano" (2017)
