Kim is a music graduate of Manchester University where she completed her Bachelor's degree in Music and post-graduate of Royal Holloway, University of London where she completed a Postgraduate Diploma in Vocal Performance in 2016 . Kim has a wide ranging repertoire that encompasses opera, oratorio, lieder and art song. This year Kim has sung with Longborough Festival Opera in Donizetti’s Anna Bolena and reprised the role of Mercedes in Bizet’s Carmen for Kentish Opera, having previously sung this role as a Barefoot Opera Young Artist in 2018. Other opera engagements include Idomeneo and Orphee aux enfers with Opera de Bauge, contemporary opera No Sound Ever Dies by Joanna Lee, scenes from Il Barbiere di Siviglia as Rosina and Cosi fan tutte as Dorabella, with Opera Foundry, the role of Satirino (La Calisto) with Woodhouse Opera, Donizetti's L'Elisir d'Amore with the New Generation Festival for their inaugural year held in Florence
To date Kim's career has seen her perform alongside Il Divo on The Royal Variety Performance, touring with the acclaimed rock band James as well as singing on stage with classical artists such as Janis Kelly and Roderick Williams. Kim has performed in some of the world’s finest venues including The Royal Albert Hall, St Marks Basilica in Venice and Florence Cathedral.
