- Carmen by G. Bizet (Running Time: Approximately 2 hours)
- The World of Kurt Weill – A Cabaret Evening featuring the music of Kurt Weill (Running Time: Approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes)
About the Wiener Festspiele Ensemble: The Wiener Festspiele Ensemble is a renowned company known for its commitment to artistic excellence. As a member of our ensemble, you will have the opportunity to work with industry professionals, gain valuable experience, and perform at some of Vienna’s most iconic venues.

Casting Details: We are seeking talented singers for lead and supporting roles in each of the aforementioned operas. All voice types are encouraged to audition.
Program Highlights:
Individual music and vocal coachings to refine your role.
Auditions, consultations, and Q&A sessions with industry agents.
Acting and Movement classes to enhance your stage presence.
2 Performances of each opera accompanied by the Wiener Festspiele Ensemble.
2 concerts with piano at the historic Mozarthaus.
All performances are professionally recorded.
Program Schedule:
The Vienna Opera Academy follows the model of professional opera companies, combining intensive music and staging rehearsals to bring out the very best in every performance. Our daily schedule runs from 10:30 am to 18:30, with about six hours of focused participation. Singers work closely with conductors, directors, and coaches in a collaborative environment that mirrors real-world opera production. Weekends are free, except on performance days, giving participants the perfect balance of rigorous training and time to enjoy Vienna.

Rehearsals and performances take place at the prestigious Musikverein Concert Hall and the historic Mozarthaus.
What is VOA and VOF?
* VOA (Vienna Opera Academy): Designed for students seeking stage experience and tools to prepare a role.
* VOF (Vienna Opera Festival): Geared towards professional opera singers looking to gain performance experience and enhance their CV. Only professional and emerging artists may apply.
The Vienna Opera Academy: More than a program—it’s your path to the stage. All selected singers are guaranteed a role, chorus part, or cover in the Vienna Opera Festival, gaining real performance experience in Vienna. With agency auditions, career consultations, and professional training, the Academy helps you take the next step in your operatic career.

TUITION:
Principal roles: € 3650 euros
Cover roles: € 2650 euros
Tuition can be paid in installments.
Attendance Policy: All participants must commit to being physically present and fully available for the entire program duration. In case of artist-initiated cancellations, prior payments are non-refundable, and application fees are non-refundable.
SCHOLARSHIPS:
* €80,000 in SCHOLARSHIPS available.
HOUSING: We do not provide housing, but we can recommend accommodations that offer discounts to Vienna Opera Academy artists. Prices start at €315 for the entire program and are conveniently located in Vienna’s city center.
VISA: If you require a visa, we will provide an official letter of acceptance to support your visa application process.
