We are delighted to launch the fourth instalment of this major new competition for singers, The New Voices Singing Competition.
With a prize fund of £7000, paid recitals offered by three of Yorkshire’s leading festivals and a distinguished judging panel, the Competition is open to soloists, duos or even ensembles of up to 8 participants, providing the principal focus of the group is singing and all participants are UK or Irish nationals or residents. Financial support of £150 is available to all semi-finalist entrants (one award of £150 for each semi-final entry).

1st Prize – The Seastock Trust Prize: £5000 Cash Award & Recital at Northern Aldborough Festival 2027
2nd Prize – The Yorkshire Music Future Fund Prize: £1500 Cash Award
The Armitage Prize chosen by the Audience – £500 Cash Award
Paid recitals at two of Yorkshire’s leading festivals, Leeds Lieder and Harrogate International Festivals
