Aaron is from the coast of Pembrokeshire, Wales and is now in his third year at the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire where he is under the tutelage of Welsh baritone, Gwion Thomas. He has also had the pleasure of being mentored by repetiteurs Paul Wingfield, Robin Bowman and Rosalind Jones.
When he’s not singing, Aaron works as a rehearsal pianist, pit orchestra player and as a musical director. His recent credits include Little Shop of Horrors, Edges, The Addams Family, Into The Woods, to name but a few.
As a classical baritone his most recent opera credits include Gounod’s Faust and Puccini’s La Bohème (Swansea City Opera), Mozart’s Le Nozze di Figaro, Gontran in La Vie Parisienne (RBC) and Guglielmo in Cosi Fan Tutte. In February 2019, Aaron will be appearing as Luka in a production of Walton’s The Bear which will be conducted by Fraser Goulding. A month later, he will be performing the role of Papageno in Mozart's Die Zauberflöte conducted by Christopher Bucknall alongside fellow students of the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire Vocal Department.
