Alexandra grew up in London and recently completed her Masters at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland, studying under Kathleen McKellar-Ferguson. She holds a BA Hons in Music from the University of Bristol, where she studied as a singer and cellist, and attended the Morley Opera School in London under Alice Farnham. Alexandra currently studies with Elizabeth McCormack and is generously supported by the Freemen of the City of Norwich.

Scenes include Florence Pike (Albert Herring), The Secretary (The Consul), La Zelatrice (Suor Angelica) and Marcellina (Le nozze di Figaro) with the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland, Hansel (Hänsel und Gretel), Fidalma (Il matrimonio segreto), Shadow (Marnie) and The Witch (Into The Woods) with Oxenfoord International Summer School, title role (Giulio Cesare) with Opera Bamba, and title role (Carmen), Cherubino (Le nozze di Figaro), Third Lady (Die Zauberflöte) and Third Maid (Elektra) with Morley Opera School.

Full roles include Maurya (Riders to the Sea) with the Brandenburg Sinfonia in celebration of Morley College’s 125th anniversary, Romeo (I Capuleti e i Montecchi) with Microscopera, and Pitti Sing (The Mikado) with Grosvenor Light Opera Company in London and at the International Gilbert & Sullivan Festival in Harrogate.

Chorus work includes The Enchanted Island (British Youth Opera), The Day After (RCS Opera/ENO) and The Cunning Little Vixen (Co-Opera Co.).

As a concert soloist and recitalist, recent highlights include Handel’s Dixit Dominus and the Duruflé Requiem with Reading Haydn Choir, Vivaldi’s Gloria with Kelvin Choir, Glasgow, and recitals for The Cathedral of the Isles and St Michael and All Saints, Edinburgh.
