Covered Covered & Performed Scenes Premiere of New Work Concert
Anjuli Mehta is a Soprano from Cheadle Hulme, Manchester. She has been singing for many years and has been trained by International Opera Singer, Anne Williams-King, RNCM’s vocal coach, Andrew Heggie and is currently under the tutelage of Jon Christos at Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance.
Anjuli Mehta has completed a Bachelor of Music at the University of Huddersfield where she was part of the Huddersfield Choral Society and participated in performances of staged scenes. She has since completed a PGCE in General Primary and is a founding member of the North Wales Opera Studio (NWOS), where she has performed the roles of Butterfly (Madama Butterfly), Fiordiligi (Cosi Fan Tutte) and Musetta (La Boheme). Also with NWOS, she has performed at the Llangollen Eisteddfod these past 2 years and performed alongside the New Sinfonia, London Welsh Male Voice Choir and the Wrexham Symphony Orchestra.
Outside of NWOS, Anjuli has performed with York Opera as Liu in Puccini’s ‘Turandot’, Opera 74 Bolton as Siebel in Gounod’s ‘Faust’, Opera Viva as Lola in Mascagni’s ‘Cavalleria Rusticana’ and has worked with renowned opera singers, Liz Collier, Kim Begley and Dennis O’Neill.
Her next engagements include Staged Opera Scenes with Trinity Laban and Mahler 8 with the Wrexham Symphony Orchestra in 2020.
