Annabel Bigland, British born Soprano recently graduate with a First Class Hounours degree from Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance and has is about to commence her postgraduate study at the Guildhall School of Music and Dance, as a Guildhall Scholar. She will be studying with Marcus Van Den Akker and Marie Vassiliou.

Annabel enjoys a wide range of repertoire with a particular interest in operatic roles of the romantic era. She had performed with the Saluzzo Opera Academy, Morley Opera College and Trinity Laban. She has recently enjoyed singing the roles of Sorella Infermiera (Suor Angelica), Magda (La Rondine), Leila (Les pêcheurs de perles). Annabel has sung in masterclasses with Della Jones, Ailish Tynan, Peter Leonard and Lorraine DiSimone as well as being coached by Ricardo Gosalbo, Carmen Santoro, Panaretos Kyriatzidis, Michalis Angelakis, Nick Bosworth and George Ireland. Further Annabel has gained valuable experience working with stage directors Gidon Saks, Cecilia Stinton and Ashley Dean.

Annabel was recently invited to performed the role of Giulietta (Les Contes D’Hoffmann) in Trinity Laban postgraduate opera scenes, a particular privilege for an undergraduate student. She was also invited to sing the role of Tatyana (Eugene Onegin) in a two day ‘side-by-side’ workshop with the Welsh National Opera, this coming June.
