Annabel Bigland, lyric soprano, is a second year masters student at Guildhall School of Music and Dance, and a Guildhall Scholar. She is be studying with Marcus Van Den Akker and Marie Vassiliou.

Annabel enjoys a wide range of repertoire with a particular interest in operatic roles of the romantic era. She had performed with the Saluzzo Opera Academy, Morley Opera College and Trinity Laban. She has recently enjoyed singing the roles of Marzelline (Fidelio), Laurette (Le Docteur Miracle), Sorella Infermiera (Suor Angelica), Magda (La Rondine), Leila (Les pêcheurs de perles). Annabel has sung in masterclasses with Della Jones, Ailish Tynan, Peter Leonard and Lorraine DiSimone as well as being coached by Ricardo Gosalbo, Carmen Santoro, Panaretos Kyriatzidis, Michalis Angelakis, Nick Bosworth and George Ireland. Further Annabel has gained valuable experience working with stage directors Gidon Saks, Cecilia Stinton and Ashley Dean.
