Belinda Evans, British Coloratura Soprano, hails from the West Country.
Trained in Bath and The Welsh College of Music and Drama, she now lives in London, working as a freelance singer.
Belinda recently completed a World tour with André Rieu and his Johann Strauss Orchestra (2018 - 2023). She is now based in London.
Her voice, and its versatility, has led her from singing at The Rugby World Cup in Australia, to film&TV appearances, to contracts in London’s West End.
Experienced in opera and on the concert platform, she is a Britten-Pears Young Artist. During 2015, 2016 and 2017 Belinda was resident soprano, singing roles including Semele and Fiordiligi for Garsington Opera's , Opera for All education project.

Belinda also has a busy concert diary with recent solo engagements at Symphony Hall Birmingham, The Cadogan Hall, The Colston Hall, Birmingham NIA, Sherborne Abbey and Bristol Cathedral for a rare performance of Andrew Lloyd Webber's Requiem. She was also Soprano Soloist for two Anniversary Performances of Verdi's Requiem.
Forthcoming solo performances include Elijah for Croydon Bach Choir, concerts with the National Youth Guitar Ensemble, and Messiah in The Great Hall at Burghley House.
Belinda was chosen by David Fanshawe to record his newest composition, Pacific Song, having perfomed his most well known Afrucan Sancus on many occasions. She have been chosen soloist for several newly commissioned pieces, including two major new Choral work by Helen Porter, Otter – Lutra Lutra on the Stour and Silver Messenger. She regularly works with composer Liz Lane, the duo collaboratively created dozens of miniatures throughout the Covid 19 lockdowns.
Competition successes include second prizewinner at both the Great Elm Vocal Awards, Frome, adjudicated by Dame Joan Sutherland, and the St. John's Solo Singing Competition, London, and Semi Finalist in the prestigious Handel Competition.
