Singing interests me as it not only requires a strong technical ability, but it demands strong discipline requiring months of hard work to create something beautiful
Beth Wischhusen, Hertfordshire, studied at the Royal Welsh College of Music & Drama, under the tuition of Kathryn Harries. Singing from a young age, Beth has always been passionate about not only performing, but all aspects of singing, including psychological and biological side.
As a scholarly member of the BBC National Chorus of Wales, Beth also takes every opportunity she can to perform. Previous projects include the roles of 'Rapunzel' in Barn Theatres’ production of Into the Woods; 'Cathy' in The Last Five Years; 'Suki Tawdry' in Opera Ddraigs’ The Beggar’s Opera and 'Ida' in their production of 'Die Fledermaus’; 'Sue Klebold' in Micheal Lowes’ new production of Columbine, performed as part of the Royal Welsh College of Music & Drama Repco events.
Beth has a love of chamber music and has been collaborating closely with Guitarist George Robinson since 2016, performing in concerts across the UK; most notably as a finalists for two years running in the McGrenery Chamber Music prize. The Robinson&Wischhusen duo can be privately hired to perform at a variety of formal & informal events and weddings. They have also most recently been entered in the Royal Welsh Colleges’ young artist programme, held in the Brecon Beacons.
Beth is looking forward to continuing to undertake more performances, and to continue her passion for singing.
