After having obtained a degree in music studying the violin in 2012, Clémence Carry
embarked on a career as a professional singer. She studied in the classes of Viviane Durand in CRR
de Clermont-Ferrand and Fusako Kondo in Conservatoire F. Poulenc of Paris 16, France. In 2014,
she was accepted into the Centre de Musique Baroque de Versailles joining the class of Isabelle
Desrochers (replaced during the course by Muriel Ferraro), and qualified with a distinction in 2017.
In this school, Clémence Carry learnt how to perform as a soloist and discovers her passion for
baroque musique. She had the opportunity to study in a range of masterclasses with Monique
Zanetti, Yves Sotin, Gilles Ragon, Christine Schweitzer, Claire Lefilliâtre, and Maarten
Königsberger.

From 2014 to 2017 with thanks to CMBV, she traveled to perform in iconic venues around
the world such as Chapelle Royale du Château de Versailles, Mirrors gallery, Battles gallery, and
Royal opera of Versailles, Amphitheatre of Opera Bastille (Paris), abbey church of St Riquier
(France), Mont St Michel (France) performing in South Korea, London, Vienna and Prague. During
this time she had the chance to work with famous conductors such as Hervé Niquet, Christophe
Rousset, Julien Chauvin and Johannes Pramsohler.

In 2017 and 2018, she formed Baroque groups each highlighting different elements of the
music : The Auld Alliance, for cultural friendship between France and Scotland, Ensemble La
Marquise, for french sacred music, and Duo Smaragdi for music at the french court. Thanks to these
ensembles her career as a soloist begins to flourish. She decides too to expand her repertoires and
sings Mass in G minor by Vaughan-Williams, Missa Choralis by Liszt, both conducted by
Dominique Sourisse, and Misatango by Palmeri, conducted by Blaise Plumettaz. Clemence Carry
often sings in France and abroad.

As of 2018, she joins the Baroque opera class of Stephane Fuget, in CRR de Paris. She
continues to improve her soloist experience and technique performing Eurydice in L'Orfeo by
Rossi, conducted by Stephane Fuget.
