Dajana Dujmovic is a Croatian mezzo-soprano known for her warm, coppery timbre. Now based in France, she has appeared in productions across Europe. Highlights include her roles as Tolomeo in Giulio Cesare in Egitto, Athamas in Semele, and Ottone in Agrippina. She holds Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Vocal Performance from the Conservatory of Music “Giuseppe Tartini” in Trieste, Italy. Her training has been guided by Italian contralto Cinzia de Mola, Swiss mezzo-soprano Brigitte Balleys, and currently Sophie Marilley. She has also worked with esteemed coaches Egon Mihajlovic and Predrag Gosta and under the direction of Mark Tucker and Marcio da Silva. Her artistic development has been greatly enriched by masterclasses with the renowned singers such as Vivica Genaux. In addition to her native Croatian, Dajana is fluent in English, French, and Italian, with conversational Spanish and basic German, enabling her to connect with international audiences. With her expressive voice and passionate interpretations, Dajana is steadily building a reputation as a promising artist on the operatic stage, with a repertoire extending from baroque opera to modern music with an emphasis on the works of Händel and Rossini.
