Sarajevo born baritone Dario Dugandzic has performed throughout Europe and Asia since graduating from Trinity College of Music (Paul Simm Opera Prize). Stage credits includ Alidoro, Leporello, Papageno, Schaunard, Albert (Werther), Death (Der Kaiser von Atlantis), Barone Douphol, Poeta (Prima la Musica e poi le Parole), Mozart's serfs Simone and Nardo, Luka (The Bear), Titone (Bononcini's Cefalo e Procride), Betto, Fiorello, Dancaïre, Ben (The Telephone), all male leads in the Pirates of Penzance, Peachum, Keeper (The Rake's Progress), 2nd Commissaire (Dialogues des Carmélites), Carl Magnus and ensemble in Coram Boy at the National Theatre.
With a passion for contemporary music, Dario has premièred many new works including Anatomy of Melancholy (Benjamin Tassie), Fight Music (Philip Venables), 'In the Dark' - an improvised opera and Without Warning at the Old Vic Tunnels.
As well as various recitals, concert highlights include Ein Deutsches Requiem, Petit Messe Solennelle, Messiah, Israel in Egypt and the Coronation Mass.
