The allure of opera, apart from the beautiful music itself, is the powerful stories about people and their destinies that play out on stage. It is the opportunity to be involved in shaping these stories that has driven me to develop as an opera singer.

An opera production is a team effort. Team cooperation has been a prerequisite for success throughout my life. I have sung in several choirs, collaborated with colleagues in my role as a medical doctor and immersed myself in group and team development both in research and in practice.

To develop as a singer, I have regularly taken solo singing lessons from experienced and well-reputed singing teachers and trained at the Stockholm Opera Studio and the Academy of Opera in Stockholm.

Since 2019, I have had assignments in the Savonlinna Opera Festival Choir, which has given me enriching stage experiences from a total of 40 performances of Aida, Carmen, Tosca, Rigoletto, The Barber of Seville and The Abduction from the Seraglio as well as from rehearsal work for King Roger and La Traviata.

My studies, life experiences and my work as a child psychiatrist help me to empathetically depict the fates of characters.
