Diana Alexe is a talented soprano originally from Adjud, Vrancea County, Romania, who was honored to become an Honorary Citizen of the Municipality of Adjud in 2022. Her musical journey began at Angela Gheorghiu General School in Adjud, under the dedicated guidance of Prof. Ionela Chiriac. She continued to develop her musical talents at Dinu Lipatti College of Arts in Bucharest, specializing in classical singing under the guidance of Prof. Mihaela Andrei.

Diana demonstrated exceptional talent from the beginning of her career. She was the first admitted to the prestigious University of Music in Bucharest, where she studied with sopranos Eleonora Enăchescu and Iulia Isaev.

Known for her clear voice, warmth, and expressiveness in interpreting music and literary text, Diana Alexe has shone on the musical stages of Romania and abroad. Music critic

Anca Florea praised her for "her ability to interpret with elegance and flexibility, highlighting her exceptional timbre, equality of registers, and the certainty of high notes. Truly passionate about music, Diana has managed to convey a varied range of emotions in diverse scores in terms of texture and style."

For four years, Diana had the privilege of being part of the Royal Margareta Foundation of Romania, where she often sang in the presence of Royal Highnesses, on prestigious stages such as the Romanian Athenaeum, the National Theater Bucharest, the Radio Hall, Peleș

She also collaborated in independent opera projects, including portraying the role of Belinda in Purcell's "Dido and Aeneas" with the "Opera Clandestina" Association.

The awards she received at national and international competitions have proven her excellence in music, including the Grand Prize at the "Emil Rotundu" Competition in Romania and the 1st Prize in the Opera category, 2nd Prize in the Lied category, and the prize for the best interpretation of Dvořák at the International "Antonin Dvorak" Competition in the Czech Republic.
