2022 sees Dominic in his first contract with the Glyndebourne Chorus in The Wreckers by Ethel Smyth, and making his role debut as Alfredo Germont in La Traviata for Opera Brava in the summer.
In June 2020, Dominic made his role debut as Mario Cavaradossi for Opera Brava.
Recent events include Dominic's debut for State Opera of South Australia as Nanki-poo in The Mikado.
In December 2018, Dominic performed in Silent Night, which marked his debut with Opera North, and in the 2019 ETO Spring Tour he performed in the ensemble and as Malcolm cover in Macbeth and as 1st Trojan in Idomeneo.
In 2017, Dominic returned to OperaQ in Brisbane to perform in Mozart Airborne, a collaboration with Expressions Dance Company. This was nominated for a 2017 Helpmann Award for Best Dance Production.
In 2016, Dominic made his Scottish Opera Debut as Nanki-poo cover in The Mikado and Nemorino cover in The Elixir of Love.
Dominic originates from the small rural town of Nanango in Queensland, Australia. He completed his undergraduate studies at the Queensland Conservatorium Griffith University in Brisbane, and received the Griffith University Academic Award in 2009. While with Opera Queensland's Young Artist Program (2011-12), Dominic's professional debut as Nanki-poo in The Mikado was reviewed by the Australian media as 'high spirited and delightful ... [as] his rich tenor registered time and time again.'
Since relocating to London in 2012 and completing the Guildhall Artist Masters of Performance at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama in 2014, where he was awarded the Concert Recital Diploma and the Chairman's Prize, Dominic has performed and covered with Scottish Opera, English Touring Opera, Garsington Opera, Nevill Holt Opera, Clonter Opera, British Youth Opera, the Chelsea Opera Group, Third Hand Opera, and Wexford Festival Opera.
Dominic has performed all the major song cycles of Schubert with fellow Australian Geoffrey Saba, touring Australia in 2014 and 2015 and most recently, performed Schwanengesang in May of 2019 in London.
Dominic has appeared as an oratorio soloist at St John’s Smith Square, the Barbican Centre, LSO St Luke’s, Cadogan Hall and Queen Elizabeth Hall as well as performing national anthems at the 100th ANZAC Day commemorations at Hyde Park Corner in the presence of HRH The Princess Royal, the 101st ANZAC Day in the presence of HRH Prince Harry and several international sporting events at Lang Park and The Gabba in Brisbane.
