Eleanor has recently graduated with a first class degree in BA Music from The Queen’s College, Oxford University. She has a passion for singing, particularly in choral and consort settings, and is pursuing a career in the field. She has singing lessons with Carys Lane.

As a choral scholar of The Queen’s College Chapel Choir during her time at Queen’s, Eleanor sang three evensong services each week during term, performed in at least one concert each term, and undertook Radio 3 broadcasts and recordings annually. As a member of the choir she toured the UK and Portugal. She was awarded the Maurice Pearton senior choral scholarship in her final year (2016-17).

Eleanor currently sings with the Magdalen Consort of Voices, a select group of sopranos singing evensong in the place of the boy choristers at Magdalen College on Saturdays during term, and is a choral clerk in the professional octet at the church of St. Michael at the North Gate in Oxford. She has recently successfully auditioned for the Chamber Choir of London, singing under Dominic Ellis-Peckham. Other ensembles with which she currently performs include The Carice Singers and The Willow Consort. Eleanor also regularly deputises at churches in Oxford and London.

Recent solo work includes Handel Messiah (Peter Foster), Emmie in Britten’s Albert Herring (Peter Thickett/Freddy Waxman/Rory Green), Soprano Quintet in Sondheim’s Sweeney Todd (Olivia Hugh-Jones/Laurence Jeffcoate), Confidante in Lloyd Webber’s Phantom of the Opera (Sarah Wright/Callum Spiller), Bach Cantata 115 (Mark Williams), Allegri Miserere, Howells and Fauré Requiem. She features as a soloist on the two latest CDs (A New Heaven and The House of the Mind) from Queen’s Choir (Jackson Ecce venio cito and Vaughan Williams The Souls of the Righteous). Eleanor has also performed many recitals during her time in Oxford, her highest mark in her final university exams being in her Solo Performance recital.

Eleanor also has administrative experience from her roles as Vice-President of the Eglesfield Musical Society (2015-16), Administrative Assistant at the Aidan Woodcock Charitable Trust (2015-17), and her current job as the Graduate Music Assistant at Headington School, Oxford (2017-).
