Emily Kyte trained at the Guildhall School of Music & Drama with Susan Waters, and on the ENO OperaWorks Programme. In 2016, Emily covered the role of Zulma in L’Italiana in Algeri for Garsington Opera, as well as singing in the chorus for their productions of Eugene Onegin, Idomeneo, and Haydn’s Creation as an Alvarez Young Artist. In 2015, Emily sang in the chorus for La Bohéme and Samson et Dalila with Grange Park Opera. She has performed with British Youth Opera, covering the roles of Dog and Woodpecker in their 2015 production of The Cunning Little Vixen and covering Second Wild Goose in their 2013 production of Paul Bunyan. Emily performed in the female quartet for Schumann’s Das Paradies und die Peri with the London Symphony Orchestra, conducted by Sir Simon Rattle at Barbican Hall and at the Philharmonie Luxembourg, and sang the alto solo for Handel’s Utrecht Te Deum and Utrecht Jubilate with the English Chamber Orchestra at St Paul’s Cathedral. She has sung solo recitals at St Bride’s Fleet Street, St Olaf’s Hart Street, and St Botolph’s without Aldgate. In 2016, she will return to the Guildhall School to study on their renowned Opera Course. Emily is a Concordia Foundation Artist.
