Erin Fflur is a Welsh Mezzo-Soprano from Y Felinheli. Erin graduated from The Royal Northern College Of Music with Masters in Music Performance (Vocal Studies and Opera) in 2020 after previously graduating from The royal Northern College Of Music with a Bachelor of Music with honours in 2018. Her studies were generously supported by the Gwilym Gwalchmai Award, The Alice Orrell and A&N Kendall Award, Teulu Cynefin Scholarship, John Llewelyn Roberts Memorial Award, Mario Lanza Education Foundation Award, Cor Y Traeth Scholarship, Masonic Talent Aid Scholarship and The Welsh Society Award.
Her opera roles include Catrin in the Welsh National Opera's production of Wild Cat, Ruth and Cousin Hebe in The National Gilbert and Sullivan Opera Company's production of The Pirates Of Penzance and HMS Pinafore. During her time at The Royal Northern College Of Music her principal roles include - Madame de la Haltiere in Cendrillon, Miss Todd in The Old Maid And The Thief, Leoni, in La Vie Parissienne, Bianca in The Rape Of Lucretia, Mere Marie in Dialogues des Carmelites and Miskwoman in Flight.
Erin has worked as a Chorus member for Wexford Festival Opera in 2021 in their productions of Edmea, Ein Wintermarchen and Le Songe D'une Nuit D'ete. She will be returning as a Chorus member in the festival next year. She has also worked as a Chorus member for The National Gilbert and Sullivan Opera Company in their productions of Patience, The Mikado, The Gondoliers and The Yeomen Of The Guard. Erin was also a Chorus Member at The Royal Northern College Of Music production of Street Scene.
Her Oratorio and Mass performance include - Handel's Messiah and Samson, Mozart's Requiem, Vivaldi's Gloria, Beethoven's Mass in C, Bruckner's Te Deum, Jenkins Stabat Mater, Mendelssohn's Elijah and Tippet's A Child Of Our Time.
