Born in Madrid where he started at the age of 9 his studies of music and piano that he will continue in Málaga.
Later he returns to Madrid to study with Inés Rivadeneira and Dolores Ripollés at the “Escuela Superior de Canto” of this city, and with the soprano Ángeles Chamorro.
During these years he has received master classes from Giuseppe Di Stefano, Gerhart Kahry, Alfredo Kraus, Suso Mariátegui, Edelmiro Arnaltes, Pedro la Virgen, Enrique Viana, Miquel Ortega, among others. Further in Madrid again he studies with the soprano Josefina Arregui and in Barcelona receives frequently classes from the tenor Jaime Aragall. After to extend his studies in the “Conservatorio Superior de Málaga” during 4 courses, at the moment he is improving his technique with Monica Campaña and Carlos Aransay.
Mr. Arbós has acted in many Lyric productions at the Teatro Cervantes in Málaga like I Puritani, Falstaff, La Dolores, etcetera. He has sung as soloist the roles of Tamino and Don José in concert version with orchestra. In the oratory field he has sung as soloist: Mozart’s Requiem, Verdi’s Requiem and Puccini’s Messa di Gloria.
He has also performed some concerts singing the Lied cicles “Die Schöne Müllerin” by Schubert, “Dichterliebe” by Schumann and "Rückert Lieder" by Mahler. At the same time Francisco Arbós has participated in many recitals in Spain, USA, Italy and Germany with pianists like Manuel Burgueras, Ricardo Estrada and Juan Antonio Álvarez Parejo. Recently was chosen to sing in a recital with the Baritone Carlos Álvarez to demand an Auditorium for classical music in Málaga city..
Opera repertoire : Otello, Carmen, Samson y Dalila, Cavalleria Rusticana, Pagliacci, Tosca, Madame Butterfly, Aida.
Zarzuelas: La Tabernera del Puerto, La Chulapona, El último romántico, La Dolorosa, El Gato Montés.
