Freya studied at Guildhall School of Music and Drama, achieving Distinction for her MA and MMus. She regularly performs with BBC Singers, London Voices, RSVP, Philharmonia, and Jervaulx Singers. She has recently taken up the second alto position in the award winning A Cappella Group, Papagena.
Recent Opera credits include Fanny Price/Julia Bertram (Mansfield Park), Cherubino (Marriage of Figaro), Musetta (La Boheme), Principessa (Suor Angelica), Hansel (Hansel and Gretal), Flora (La Traviata) and Mother (Amahl and the Night Visitors).
Career highlights include Stockhausen’s Mittwoch aus Licht with Birmingham Opera Company, and she has recorded hundreds of film and video game soundtracks, including for Marvel, Disney, DC, Netflix, Jurassic World, Fantastic Beasts, James Bond, Dune, Alien, Hobbit and Hunger Games series. She is a regular soloist on the oratorio circuit around the country.
She recently qualified as a Laryngeal Massage Practitioner.
