Grace graduated with an MA in Opera Performance from The Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama, where she studied with Suzanne Murphy. She also has a First Class BMus (Hons) degree from RWCMD. During her time at RWCMD she has appeared in concerts with the College Chorus and Symphony Orchestra as well as lunchtime recitals as a chorus member and as a soloist.
Grace's operatic work includes; Chorus in Rusalka (Scottish Opera), Chorus in Carmen (Scottish Opera), Chorus in HMS Pinafore (Scottish Opera at The Edinburgh International Festival), Chorus in Madama Butterfly (Scottish Opera), Jennifer/The Creator in My Perfect World (Welsh National Opera Outreach Workshop), 2nd Lady in The Magic Flute (RWCMD), Stewardess (Cover) in Flight (RWCMD), Bianca and Auntie in Britten's Women (RWCMD at The Bath International Music Festival), Bianca in The Rape of Lucretia (RWCMD), Chorus in The Bartered Bride (British Youth Opera), Chorus in Le nozze di Figaro (British Youth Opera and RWCMD), Dorabella (Cover) in Cosi Fan Tutte (Jackdaws), Clem and Alfred in The Little Sweep (RWCMD Outreach), 3rd Lady in The Magic Flute (Opera'r Ddraig), Chorus in Die Fledermaus (Bedfordshire Youth Opera).
In scenes, she has also sung; Componist in Ariadne auf Naxos (with orchestra), Rosina in Il barbiere di Siviglia, Dorabella in Cosi fan tutte, Carmen, Idamante in Idomeneo, Cendrillon (with orchestra), Meg in Falstaff, Charlotte in Werther (with orchestra) (all RWCMD), and Hansel (Opera'r Ddraig).
Grace is a keen soloist, having appeared in; the world premiere of Ben Lunn's oratorio Luminous Path to Liberation, a joint concert with Russkaya Cappella as a soloist of Scottish Voices, Ecstatic Voices, Sacred Sonorities, Peregrinatory Tones as a soloist of Scottish Voices (Congresso do Organologica, Tavira, Portugal), Upload Opera a technology friendly opera showcase in Aberdeen, The Leeds Lieder + Composer Showcase, fund-raising concerts with Rebecca Evans and also Cowbridge Male Voice Choir, Matthew Clark Esther (title role in the world première of this oratorio), Handel Messiah (Mega Messiah in the Donald Gordon Theatre, Wales Millennium Centre), Mozart Requiem, Mozart Coronation Mass, Bach Christmas Oratorio, Britten Ceremony of Carols, Rutter Feel the Spirit, Vivaldi Gloria and Magnificat and Pergolesi Stabat Mater. Grace has also appeared in a solo recital From Bach to Britten (All Saint’s Church), a joint recital as part of the Llandeilo festival, and a joint concert with Huntingdon Male Voice Choir.
She has won several competitions including RWCMD's Dolan Evans Memorial Award in 2013, and Valetta Iacopi prize in 2012 and 2014. She was a semi-finalist in The Mozart Competition 2013, a finalist in The Thelma King Award 2013 and 2014, and she was chosen to compete in the prestigious Kathleen Ferrier Bursary Award in 2009. Grace has also won The Music in the Vale Young Singer of the Year (Senior Category) in 2010 and 2011.
She has taken part in masterclasses with; Dame Felicity Palmer (Cardiff Singer of the World Masterclass), Susan Bullock, John Fisher, Anne Mason, Elin Manahan Thomas, Malcolm Martineau, Rebecca Evans, Teresa Cahill, Janice Chapman and Simon Lepper.
