Isobel Hughes is an award-winning mezzo soprano from North
London and recent graduate of the David Seligman Opera School at
the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama.
Isobel’s recent roles include Mère Marie in Poulenc’s Dialogues of the
Carmelites with Aylesbury Opera, and Lola in Rose Opera’s double
bill of Cavalleria Rusticana and Pagliacci. They are looking forward to
performing as Second Boy in Mozart’s The Magic Flute with Park
Opera, as well as Sesto in CESARE, Somerset Opera’s upcoming
adaptation of Handel’s Giulio Cesare, in Autumn 2025.
