James Holt trained at the Royal Northern College of Music under the tuition of Peter Wilson, graduating with a Master of Music in Operatic performance with Vocal Pedagogy. James was delighted to be supported by The Ann Driver Trust. Operatic roles include Drunken Poet & Coridon, The Fairy Queen, Marchese d’Obigny, La Traviata, (Hampstead Garden Opera), Guglielmo, Cosi fan tutte (North Wales Opera Studio), Nym cover, Sir John in Love (British Youth Opera). James most recently performed in the Chorus, Aida (FKP productions, Germany Tour) and Opera Holland Park’s 2024 season including Tosca, Il barbiere di Seviglia & Edgar.
