Kristine Paseka, a young lyric soprano from Latvia who graduated from Conservatorium Maastricht in 2021, made her first role debut as Josephine in A.Sullivan's H.M.S Pinafore at the Brussels Operetta Theatre in December 2023. In the last year her engagements included a tour with the Nederlandse Reisopera as a chorus member of the production of Das Wunder der Heliane and A.Raskatovs opera Animal Farm at the Wiener Staatsoper in February 2024 after a successful world premiere at the Dutch National Opera.

Over the course of her vocal studies, Kristine had performed roles such as Pamina, Dido, Fiordiligi , Maria de Rudenz and Mimi in university productions but her musical journey begun when she was only five years old in Classical piano. As a young musician she has participated in many prestigious competitions including winning the 1st prize at the Concours Musical de France in 2004.
