Lily is a soprano from Worcestershire and graduate of The Royal Birmingham Conservatoire. She was a 2017-2019 Ex Cathedra Student Scholar and a previous Chorister and Choral Scholar of St Philips Cathedral, Birmingham. Whilst at the cathedral she sang with the Birmingham Royal Ballet at The Alhambra Palace for their production of Mendelssohn’s A Midsummer Nights Dream and toured around Europe singing in Leipzig, Paris, Granada and Nantes. During her time at university she had many operatic roles including Mary Crawford from Mansfield Park, Papagena from The Magic Flute and Dido from Dido and Aeneas. In 2019 she performed in Mansfield Park for Lichfield festival at Swinfen Hall and toured with The National Gilbert and Sullivan Opera Company for their summer season. In 2021 she was invited back to perform at Thursford Christmas Spectacular for a second year as a soloist and chorus member. Lily enjoys singing opera, musical theatre, folk, jazz and choral music and has a passion for early music. Lily is currently a Voces8 Scholar and has just participated in the Emma Kirkby Masterclass at the Voces8 centre.
