LISA ALGOZZINI ​is a young Italian-American soprano who has already been recognized for having a powerful stage presence and a voice that possesses a colorful, rich, Italianate quality. Most recently she has sung the title role of Handel's ALCINA with the Kammeroper Schloss Rheinsberg in Germany where her portrayal was praised by Der Tagesspiegel as "powerful and rich in substance,” SUSANNA (Le nozze di Figaro) at the Teatro de la Paz in Mexico, Trentino Music Festival in Italy and again at the Manhattan Opera in New York, LAURETTA (Gianni Schicchi) at the State Opera Stara Zagora and the State Opera Plovdiv in Bulgaria, POPPEA (L'incoronazione di Poppea) with the Greek Opera Festival in Athens, ZERLINA (Don Giovanni) in New York, MICAELA (Carmen) at Festival Santa Florentina in Spain, ADINA (L'elisir d'amore) in Croatia, DONNA ANNA (Don Giovanni) with the Vienna Summer Music Festival, Mahler's Symphony No. 4 in Vienna and made her Carnegie Hall Debut as the 2nd Place Winner in the Nico Castel International Master Singer Competition.
